Foxx Endorsed By NRA

FOXX ENDORSED BY NRA FOR PRO-GUN OWNER VOTING RECORD

Clemmons, N.C.—The campaign of Congresswoman Virginia Foxx today announced the National Rifle Association's endorsement of Foxx's re-election campaign. Foxx, who is a lifetime member of the NRA, received the NRA's endorsement for her solidly pro-Second Amendment voting record.

"Our right to bear arms is a precious Constitutional freedom that I will continue to tirelessly defend in Congress," Congresswoman Foxx said. "At a time when anti-gun liberals are fighting to restrict our right to bear arms it is a great honor to receive the NRA's endorsement for my pro-gun record."

Foxx has consistently voted to preserve the constitutional protections given to Americans to keep and bear arms. She also has opposed burdensome restrictions on gun ownership, such as Washington, DC's blanket ban on gun ownership that was recently overturned by the Supreme Court.

"Virginia Foxx has demonstrated a proven commitment to the of Second Amendment rights of North Carolina's gun owners, hunters and shooters by voting preserve this constitutional freedom," said Charles Cunningham, the NRA's Director of Federal Affairs. "Congresswoman Foxx is truly dedicated to protecting the rights of gun owners."

"Hunters, sports shooters and collectors know that our founding fathers intended for them to exercise their Second Amendment freedoms," Foxx said. "I promise to work to ensure that those freedoms are not eroded by anti-gun special interests in Congress."
