Your vote in our upcoming Presidential election is of the utmost importance. Between now and then, you will hear a lot of talk that if you vote for this person you are really voting against that person. I even heard it said on a talk radio if you voted for a particular candidate you are throwing your vote away! The intent of this article isn't to prove or disprove any of those theories. This article is simply my way to impress upon you the importance of your vote.
So, have you registered to vote? If not, why not? Did you know how just one vote can turn the course of an election?
- Women won the right to vote in 1920 by just one vote
- In 1845, Texas won statehood by just one vote
- President Johnson was spared impeachment by just one vote in 1868
One vote - your vote - is important!

Thanks for the link! Much appreciated!
In today's gigantic society, one vote doesn't seem like that much. But that's exactly why one single Christian cannot afford to give up his or her vote!!! We need each and every one of them, en masse!!!
And just think, all the Floridian Democrats who didn't vote must have been kicking themselves (maybe they still are) after 2000, and all the Floridian Republicans who didn't vote must have been taking deep sighs of relief.
Then again, if they didn't vote, maybe they didn't really care.
